Protection of minors
KakaoTalk provides protection measures for guardians or minors who are unable to use Parental Controls. Upon request by the minor or their legal representative, access to Open Chat or Short Form services may be temporarily restricted.
If protection of minors is required in Open Chat or Short Form services, you may submit a request through the Customer Service quick application page. The request will be processed automatically upon completion of identity verification and electronic certificate authentication via KakaoTalk Wallet. If identity verification or KakaoTalk Wallet authentication is not available, you may submit the request by attaching the required documents.
