KakaoTalk offers an 'Allow Adding Friends by Phone Number' setting to empower you to handle unwanted instances where others might attempt to add you as a friend and send messages. By opting not to allow 'Adding Friends by Phone Number,' other users cannot include you as a friend using your phone number. You can adjust the option for friend additions via phone numbers by accessing 'Settings (gear icon) > Friends > Allow Adding Friends by Phone Number' on the KakaoTalk mobile 'More' screen.
